Jennifer Denise Malone, ADCHP

I am passionate about providing clients with a safe, supportive, and accepting space in which to work through their issues and overcome self-defeating habits. As a caring and empathic therapist, my approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and solution-focused. I work with clients presenting with a wide range of problems, but I specialise in helping clients successfully overcome anxiety/panic, depression, and low self-esteem.

Experience

In private practice as a therapist at The Clarity Clinic in Cork City since 2016, I also have over five years of experience working with clients at all stages of the cancer journey and their family members, at the Cork Cancer Care Centre. In addition to client work, since 2019, I have also been assisting with the development and delivery of Hypno-psychotherapy training at the Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (ICHP). As an ethical therapist, I abide by the strict code of ethics and practice advanced by the ICHP, attend regular supervision and CPD, and am an accredited member of the Association of Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (APHP) and the National Register of Psychotherapists and Counsellors (NRPC).

Qualifications

I trained for seven years with the Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy (ICHP) and graduated from ICHP’s 4 Year Masters Programme in Integrative Hypno-Psychotherapy. This comprehensive in-depth psychotherapy training incorporated clinical experience, supervision, and personal therapy. Before training as a therapist, I graduated from University College Cork (UCC) with a BA in Philosophy and Sociology and worked in administration and project management in multi-national corporations Apple and EMC.

If you have any questions about how I can assist you with any issue, please contact me, I’ll be happy to help…
